Upon their introduction in 1952, the Nelson Ball CrissCross Bubble Pendant by Herman Miller were an exciting collection of lamps that proposed a new kind of material application, using a soft plastic originally made for the U. S. military. The Nelson Ball CrissCross Bubble Pendant is made of this material, which is vigorously spray-coated around a steel wire frame to make the round shape. The slightly visible wire frame is integral to the design, which ultimately creates soft ambient light once lit. Shape: Globe. Color: White. Finish: White with Brushed Nickel Trim.
